19 weeks

Great news! I felt the baby move and saw the baby move for the first time this last week!  On August 18th, while I was sitting in the movies, I was pretty sure I felt something odd.  You know that feeling you get when you are driving over a hill, yeah... that feeling.  I felt that a few times.  I didn't feel nervous or anxious and couldn't make sense of the feeling.
And then the next day, as I was sitting on the couch, I saw my belly jump.  AMAZING!  I think I laughed for probably 15 minutes.  Ray felt it and saw it too.  Words cannot describe how incredible it is.
On another note, I've had the last 3 days off and haven't done much.  I did, however, put together some tools for my Ava Anderson business that I started and I had my first party "Ava Anderson & Lemonade in the Park".  It went well.  I had some good friends come out to support me and try some of Ava's awesome products.  All in all, I spread the message to a few more people and feel good about it.
How far along? 19 weeks.
Maternity clothes? A mixture of both.  Definitely maternity pants.
Stretch marks? No.
Sleep? I hate that pillow I ordered.  It's 2x smaller than the picture looks and it's stiff.  It's supposed to be down alternative, down is not stiff.  I'm looking into more options.
Best moment this week? Feeling my littlel baby move.
Miss Anything? Dr Pepper.  Caffeine free Dr Pepper is not the same.
Movement? Yes!!
Food cravings? I want ice cream.  I'm still waiting for Ray to take me to Jeni's.
Anything making you queasy or sick? I've been having some wicked heartburn lately.  Ooh-wee!
Gender? Boy.
Labor Signs? No.
Symptoms? Tired, uncomfortable, heartburn, growing pains.
Belly Button in or out? Still in.
Wedding rings on or off? Keeping them on.
Mood? Happy.  Very happy.
Looking forward to? Giving my little baby boy a name.

18 weeks

18 weeks and counting!  Definitely getting bigger.  I started pulling out my maternity clothes this week.  I can't believe the difference.  Last week I was wearing a pair of jeans and this week I couldn't get that same pair of jeans comfortably buttoned.  I guess it's expected, right?  Hehe.
Last weekend we attended a beautiful wedding (Congratulations Brian and Vanessa) and this weekend it's time to get busy making room for our new addition.  I'm excited to make it official.
How far along? 18 weeks.
Maternity clothes? Yup!  Just started wearing them this week.
Stretch marks? None yet.
Sleep? I just ordered a new pillow from Amazon 2 nights ago but it hasn't arrived yet.  For now I have extra pillows .:o)

Miss Anything? Nah, it's all worth it.
Movement? Nothing yet but hopefully soon.
Food cravings? YooHoo, orange juice... why is it that I'm craving beverages?
Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope, still feeling good.

Symptoms? Just sleepy a lot but taking naps when I can.
Belly Button in or out? Still in.

17 weeks

Here we are at 17 weeks!
I've done some shopping the last few days.  I bought a dress for a wedding I'm attending this weekend, new bras, and a few maternity shirts to get me started.  I've have some wonderful items passed on to me as well, which is so helpful.  I will definitely be modeling my new clothes very soon.
How far along? 17 weeks
Maternity clothes? I've purchased a few things and I've had a few things given to me, so I'm ready.  I'm still squeezing into my regular jeans, although I've resorted to using a hair elastic to fasten my button.  I did purchase a BeBand but I'm unsure if I like it.  I'll give it a few more chances.
Stretch marks? None yet
Sleep? I've been sleeping better now that I've got a cushy pillow to cuddle with.
Best moment this week? Buying new bras.  Yay for maximum comfort!
Miss Anything? Roller coasters.  No fun that I can't go to Cedar Point this year but it's TOTALLY worth it.
Movement? Still nothing yet.  I've been trying to concentrate really hard to feel it but nothing felt yet.  It's so weird to see the little guy moving all around on ultrasound and yet I can't feel it.
Food cravings? YooHoo.  No real "food" cravings.  I'm thirsty all the time.  I'm stocked up on Aquafina.
Anything making you queasy or sick? Feeling good!
Gender? BOY BOY BOY BOY BOY BOY BOY BOY!!! :o)
Labor Signs? Nope
Symptoms?  I tire easily still but it feels like it's getting a bit better.
Belly Button in or out? Still in
Wedding rings on or off? On!
Mood? So happy.
Looking forward to? Feeling this little guy moving all around

Snakes & Snails & Puppy Dog Tails

Our big day came yesterday, we found out the gender of our little one.
I must say, I was so surprised.  My insticts pointed to girl from all directions but I am so very happy to announce we are expecting a precious baby boy.  The hubby has been talking of a baby boy since the moment we found out we were expecting and was very excited with the news as well.  He has been tooting his own horn since she told us, "I knew it was a boy all along!"
At first the sonographer was unsure.  She said "Now don't go on a shopping spree or anything because it looks like the umbilical cord is in the way".  And wouldn't you know, moments later the little guy did a flip and there it was!  "OK, now you can go on a shopping spree and tell the neighborhood, it's definitely a boy!!"  Talk about a huge laugh... and huge surprise for me!  I was so happy, I cried twice!
There you have it, a Sweet Baby BOY Suen!  I can't wait to kiss his little face.

16 weeks

What a week it has been!  All week I have been counting down until Friday August 3rd, the day that we (hopefully) find out if our sweet baby Suen is a boy or a girl!
To be announced!! ;o)

Well, I didn't get my 16 week post out on Tuesday like I had hoped.  It's hard getting around to things you would like to do when you are doing things you have to do.  With that being said, I worked the last 3 days and had no time for fun.  Today, however, I made my way to the State Fair with my cousin Jessie and had a pretty good time.  One chicken Philly sandwich, an ear of roasted corn, and a lemon shake up later, and I had had my fill of fair food!  We also spent s good amount of time walking through the animal barns and looking through the random junk that the fair always has to offer.  Wish I would have thought to bring my camera!  It wasn't too much longer after that trip that I was making my way home for a much needed nap!

How far along? 16 weeks
Maternity clothes? Almost! I'm keep squeezing into my regular jeans because I'm in denial of my growing size.  I'll be switching real soon.
Stretch marks? None yet
Sleep? Yes, please :o)
Best moment this week? Finally starting my blog and counting down to the big gender reveal!!
Miss Anything? Feta cheese.  I really wanted some today when Jessie was eating it at the fair.
Movement? None yet... I thought maybe I had felt a little something the other day but I'm not entirely sure.
Food cravings? Milk.  And Aquafina.
Anything making you queasy or sick? Not this week.  All has been well.
Gender? We find out today!!!
Labor Signs? None
Symptoms? Intermittent moodiness!! Big time. Watch out. ;o)  And a full bladder too, hehe.
Belly Button in or out? Still in
Wedding rings on or off? On!
Mood? I couldn't be happier.
Looking forward to? Buying little gender related baby things.
